CFA Missions Committee: Pastor Donald Andreasen, Temi Akingboye, Bill Cummings, Helen Hiebsch, Jeff Hurd, Allison Stidam, & Don Wampler.
Assemblies of God World Missions represents a growing family of more than 4,000 people, 1,900 appointed missionaries, 600 missionary associates and 1,500 missionary children, scattered throughout 204 countries. These dedicated men and women, along with their children, are taking the gospel to cities, urban areas and remote villages, telling a lost world that Christ loves them and came to redeem them from their sins. Together they work with more than 230,000 national pastors in six geographical regions: Africa, Asia Pacific, Eurasia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean and Northern Asia.
Columbus First Assembly currently supports 38 Foreign Missionaries/Overseas Programs, 8 Home Missions Programs and 2 local programs. The Missions Budget for 2010 is $47,196. Through the Faith Promises of our faithful members, we've been able to increase our missions budget quite a bit over the past 7 years, and the Missions Committee anticipates looking forward to growing our outreach in 2010 and in the years to come for the glory of God!
