Purpose:
- Disciple the children of CFA families both spiritually as well as in service
- Reach the un-churched children in Columbus area with the gospel of Jesus
Ministry Goals:
To reach kids and raise them up to be:
- Powerful in prayer
- Knowledgeable in God's Word
- Radical in worship
- Active in evangelism
- Sacrificial in giving (Missions minded)
- Mobilized in service
- Baptized in water
- Baptized in the Holy Spirit
IGNITE Kids Church is for all children ages 5 through 5th grade. We meet each Sunday morning during the morning worship service in our Kid's Church room in the basement. IGNITE incorporates all elements of the adult worship service presented on the children's level incorporating audiovisual, puppets, object lessons, games, and costume characters all in a fun, kid-friendly environment. Students in 5th & 6th grades have the opportunity to serve on the student ministry team as key participants in the ministry.
IGNITE is a proud sponsor of BGMC- Boys and Girls Missionary Crusade. BGMC is an arm of the Assemblies of God missions program focusing on ministry to children around the world. Funds raised through BGMC allows missionaries to obtain the supplies they need in order to spread the gospel and reach the world. The second Sunday of each month is dedicated to BGMC. We focus on a country, their culture, and the missionaries working within that country. BGMC teaches kids about the needs of people around the world and how we can respond to those needs.
